Shipped: the desktop application

A small desktop application with a tray icon next to the system clock reads the same local cache the command line tool writes, so quota is glanceable without a terminal open. Packaged Windows, macOS and Linux builds are attached to the release.

• Status: shipped on Windows, macOS and Linux, with a public download for each.
• Windows and macOS ship unsigned. On Windows, SmartScreen: choose More info, then Run anyway. On macOS: System Settings, Privacy and Security, Open Anyway. macOS is excluded from automatic updates until signing and notarisation exist.
• Planned: an automatic update channel. There is none today.

Shipped: the phone, planned: a native app

The phone pairs from the hub by QR code, with nothing typed, and installs to its home screen from there: Android offers to install it, and iOS uses Share, then Add to Home Screen. That is available today, on Pro.

• Status: phone pairing and the installable web app are shipped, on Pro.
• A native application in an app store remains planned and does not exist today. The paired, installable web app is what replaces the need for one.

• Status: available. Sync is on from the moment you sign in.
• Threshold and reset email alerts.
• Ninety day hosted usage history with burn rate forecasts.
• Phone pairing by QR code, kept alive across the device closing for a day or more.
• Everything you can see is free. The command line tool and the desktop local features work with no Pro account.

There is no waitlist and no email capture. The honest place to watch is the issue tracker, where the work is planned in public.
